 Presented circuit diagram is of RF remote control switch.  This remote control switch allows up to four electrical appliances to be turned on and off.  

The biggest feature of the RF remote control switch is that it does not traditionally require the remote to be placed in front of the appliance to turn it on or off as it works on RF frequency. The radio frequency ranges from 30 KHz to 300 MHz.

RF module ASK modulation is used in this system.  ASK modulation (Aptitude Shift Keying).  Radio frequency remote is better than ir remote because the range of RF remote is much better than ir remote.  The range of RF remote is about 30 to 100 meters.

You can use this remote from any corner of the house.  With this remote control, you can turn on/off electrical appliances from any corner of the house.  

This project is divided into two section transmitter circuit and receiver circuit.  

Rf transmitter circuit 

The RF remote control transmitter section circuit diagram is given below.The main components used in the transmitter circuit are HT12E ancoder and RF transmitter module 433MHz.

Apart from this, five resistors, one capacitor and four push buttons have also been used in this circuit.

The IC HT12E in the circuit converts the parallel data into serial.

The main component in this circuit is the RF transmitter module which converts the signals received from the ic into radio frequency and transmits it over the air.

Rf remote control receiver circuit 

The main components used in the RF remote control receiver section is the RF receiver module 433MHz and ic HT12D.  Apart from this, a capacitor, an LED and two resistors have also been used in this circuit. 

The main component in the receiver section of the RF remote control is the RF frequency receiver, which converts the signals received from the RF transmitter module into electrical signals and provides to the IC HT12D. HT12D is a decoder ic that decodes the signals received from the RF receiver.

By connecting transistor and relay to the data output pin of ic HT12D, you can use it as a switch.  The list of all the electrical components used in the circuit is given below.
